Beauty Talk| L'oreal Revitalift Magic Blur that doesn't sell in Malaysia

Since this is the first blog post for my Beauty Talk category, I'm gonna talk about something that you can't get in Malaysia. (Update13/07/2015:  You can get it now in Malaysia, I saw it in Curve's Watson.)

I'm pretty sure you've already known the brand L'oreal and their red packaging products that are part of the Revitalift series. But what you may not know is that they actually launched a sub-series called Magic Blur.

This L'oreal Revitalift Magic Blur series will not be found on the shelves of drugstores in Malaysia... and probably not in Singapore too. (you can now)
(I've been to many drugstores and they really don't have it.)
Here I have is a day-cream moisturizer that acts as a moisturizer and primer-like concealing feature.

How do I know this product?
Well, one day I was watching the most famous beauty talk show in Taiwan called Nv Ren Wo Zui Da (ๅฅณไบบๆˆ‘ๆœ€ๅคง) and one of the beauty expert called ็‰›็ˆพ recommended this product. Now the show does not promote products but they do list out what they have mentioned in the show on to their website. So I went to do a bit of a research on it.
Turns out, this little thing is hard to find in other countries and it was kinda sold out in Taiwan when they just launched it.
The current Asian country that I know that sells this product is Taiwan. Boots, a drugstore company, do sell it in Thailand if I wasn't mistaken.

Now to summarize all the reviews that I've read, you cannot use a lot of this when you apply it for one time. Which means that it will be thick enough when you apply a light amount of it.
When the weather is hot, it is advised to apply a very light amount of this because your makeup will melt if you apply lots of it. However, the makeup will be applied easily and it will stick well on your skin if you use the correct amount (which is as long as you don't use too much.)

Based on my experience (I just started using it for like, 4 days?), it's a silicon-ish moisturizer that does seem to blur out some flaws on my skin although not as effective as Photoshopping my face. I'm not sure if it's because of my awfully dehydrated skin or not, a few small spots on my face feels a bit itchy but currently, I don't see any breakouts caused but this product. My skin does feel softer after applying it, it's like I used loose powder or something. The pores starts to look less obvious too.

If you're interested in getting one of this, you can go to Echemist.co.uk to buy this but please be reminded that normal shipping does not have a tracking number and it may go up to 30 days from the date of being dispatched. Mine reached about 1 week and 2 days later. To be honest, I worried so much that it will be lost.
Echemist.co.uk packed it into a box filled with fillers and also wrapped the product with bubble wrap.

As far as I'm concerned, they don't have paraben in this product. (Click to enlarge photos.)
This product is made in Germany and they recommend this to people at the age around 35 to 55.
On the packaging, it says to apply a small amount on cleansed skin without massaging.
They claim that this will reduce the signs of ageing in ONE MONTH. Well, we'll see if it's true.

The moisturizer is quite little and it cost me about RM62.81.
The product itself is RM44.99 (less VAT Rm9) and the shipping is Rm17.82.
The texture is a bit like yoghurt and the colour is faint pink and it's not the oily kind.
The fragrance of this product is quite strong though but it's the bearable kind of smell.
The disadvantage is that you really don't know how much amount you should put on and it does not have sunblock feature so you may have to apply sunblock if you're going to be under the sun for long.

I'm guessing that this one will last about 3 to 4 months?
I'm not sure though since I don't really use something that has the kind of texture like this.
They called it “cashmere soft, non-greasy cream.”

In Malaysia, we have summer all day 24/7 so if you put too much on your skin, it will melt off.
So I guess little will do.
But what if it's not enough?
What if I didn't cover enough spots?
What if this? What if that?
What if-! well I should stop here HAHAHA

Well, this thing does what it says (blurring and moisturizing) so I guess it wasn't that bad.
However if you're the kind of person who loves to go with thick makeup and want to use this as a primer, please don't. Please think twice before doing that.
This is more of a "light-makeup primer" instead of "all types of makeup primer."

Anyways, if you want to try this, go ahead :)
It's worth the try though and it's not as bad as I thought.
I always thought that L'oreal isn't good enough but then I guess I should re-think about it again.
(But please do keep in mind that some of their revitalift products do have paraben.)

This is the first skincare product that I got from L'oreal so I hope they won't disappoint me or else I think I'll stick to Laneige instead. They have really good moisturizing products <3 <3
Aaaaaaaaand that's all for this beauty talk.
