I had the privilege to be a VVIP to participate the event of NYX Professional Makeup's Third Store Opening Ceremony in Sunway Pyramid on the 1st of February and they were so generous because they gave discounts the first 200+ customers! This one here is one of the products that I've gotten and do check out my haul at the bottom of this post!

The casing itself is magnetic which I personally have worried for accidents in bags, especially for someone who's as rude as me. The lid may remove itself in the bag since I sway my bag and drop it unlady-like to the chair wherever I go.

Shade

This shade has a brownish mauve with a tint of reddish purple which comes out as a very dark reddish mauve purple colour.

The length of the lipstick is not a lot but once you've got to try it, you'd realize that you don't need a lot of this lipstick to achieve a full, bold lip.

The texture from the lipstick is rather smooth and glossy. The colour payoff is very intense and a light swipe can deposit a lot of colour.

Verdict

I kinda like this colour if I'd like to go all dark and powerful. It's not a common colour for everyday makeup but it does make an impression about being bold and brave. It fits quite well to my Asian skin. Though it is very easy to blend, the colour can still be a bit patchy if your lips are a little dry. Although I won't be using it frequently, I'd still like to use it occasionally whenever I dress in darker colours.

However, there's nothing too special for me to elaborate on this lipstick, which is one that I regret. Do let me know if you have more opinions on this product.

Overall, I will not buy it again because one is enough for me but I will recommend this shade to my friends since the colour is just right. Not too dark, not neon bright and the tone fits Asian skin tones.
