Take a Look + Review| Signature Market - A Brand New Phase

I got invited to experience the launch of Signature Market's new rebranding launch. I thought it was one of those really typical launches but the event itself was well-prepared and well-thought-out.

Signature Market

A Brand New Phase

20th July 2019 | 2:30pm - 4:30pm
Majapahit @ Marc Residence, KLCC

Once I've entered the restaurant, the aesthetic hit me. It was a really calming place, full of sunlight and it feels very comfortable during the day. This place might even feel more alive at night with people coming in for a couple of drinks and a few groups of people partying in closed rooms.

There were also catering food trays laid neatly on long tables. A foodie like me got really excited because I didn't know lunch was actually offered. Typically, a normal launch only provides little refresher but Signature Market and Majapahit went all out.

Take a Look | Pathlab's New Aug Promo on Blood Test: PATHLAB National Health Check Up

Hey guys! I've been wanting to do a blood test and Pathlab seems to have a great deal with their packages. I've been eyeing on it but I haven't found the motivation to go.. up until recently. I saw the new promotion going on, it's called the PATHLAB National Health Check Up, and went to check on it, apparently it's only for a short period of time.

I went to the Puchong branch and queued at 7:50am. When they opened at 8am, everyone went in to get a form with the queue numbers attached. I was No.19. All we needed to do was to fill up our details (excluding address) and sign the consent section at the bottom before handing the papers back. At 8:40am, I was briefed about which package to get, paid on the spot, given a bottle to store urine and right after getting out of the washroom, I was immediately called for blood extraction. After that, I walked to the counter, collected my receipt and left the place.

Food & Health| Dutch Lady Purefarm milk

My breakfast routine isn't really a consistent one because sometimes I wake up late for my classes in the afternoon and I'll just head to school for a brunch. When I do have breakfast, I don't usually get milk because it's kinda hard to buy milk from cafes and restaurants aside from chocolate milk.

At the same time, drinking milk isn't much of a culture in the Asian side of the world.

So, I was kinda lucky to be able to participate a 7 day challenge from Dutch Lady.

They started off by sending me a set of breakfast and also 7 cartons of milk for the challenge.

A lot of my friends were drooling at the sight of the egg omgggggggg

So we all know what milk is good for -----> Bones and growth (esp adolescents)

Milk is pretty much what caucasians will drink every morning and I guess that's why they're all so strong and tall. Looking at us Malaysians, our breakfast usually consist of coffee, milo or fruit juice. The most we get were fibre and vitamin from fruit juice and caffeine from coffee. At the same time, our food doesn't seem to have high  protein or calcium level too.

Unless, you eat a lot of eggs and spinach.
But spinach for breakfast. Hah -w-'|

My family, for example. When we get milk from the stores, I usually just get any random full cream milk (my mother insisted) that was on sale on the day itself. I guess we don't really pay attention much to the difference in every brand's nutrients beside from their taste.

But milk is pretty important  for breakfasts mainly because they provide enough nourishments to kick-start our day. Did you know that 2 servings of milk a day helps to meet your nutritional requirement? I mean, 1 serving at breakfast can provide 200mg of calcium to jump start your daily nutritional intake! At the same time, Milk helps children to develop strong bones and teeth, and keeps adults' bones healthy due to the consistency of calcium in them.

Apparently, Dutch Lady PureFarm milk can provide at least 275mg of calcium.

Also, milk contains a range of essential nutrients like Manganese, Phosphorus, Selenium, Calcium, Protein and Vitamin C, D, A, and B. People with lactose intolerance can also drink a cup of milk and it's the best when you pair it with other food.

So drink up your milk so that you can start your day extra energetic!

Review| Kinohimitsu J'pan D'Tox Tea- Ginger

Hellooooo :)
This would be a threaded post with updates and I hope it helps you guys to determine whether this product is worth the buy or not.

I bought this on the day 11th October 2014 just to give it a try since the college days have been making me feel unhealthy. Sitting all day before, during and after meals, and also lack of time to exercise.
At the same time, because of self-consciousness, I bought the J'pan BustUp Drink. They said it on their website that it's best to detox before consuming that so yeah, I'm going to detox myself for the next 60 days.
This is how it looks like (without the mug behind).
It comes with a container and it contains 60 packs.
I bought this is Watson with the discounted price of RM49.90.

The ingredient in the tea bags are:
Ginger root, orange peel, rosehip fruit, Uva Ursi, Chamomile flower, Stevia leaves, Althea Root, Buckthorn Bark.

Directions:
You put the tea bag into your desired amount of water and wait for 2-5 minutes, depending on how you like the taste. To enhance taste, you can add raw honey.
(But isn't it that the honey will lose nutrient after being heated?)

It tasted like tea with a small hint of ginger.
Great for people who dislike heavy ginger taste but I don't know, it doesn't taste like how I expected it to be, even though I left the tea bag in there for over 5 minutes.
It's just somehow... plain?

_____________
                               Begin

Day 1: 11/10/2014
I forgot I have dinner at night and I finished about one mug by the time I remembered.
Surprisingly, it doesn't give the awfully painful feeling that some products do.
I have the feeling of 'needing the toilet' but it was like a minor feeling.
Guess it's a good start?
Toilet scene: I felt like I drank lots of water instead of feeling like I'm clearing the food...

Day 2
I still don't feel like I've gone to the toilet enough times to cleanse my body.
But I guess I just need to wait a bit longer for the effect.
[but I was wrong]
I was already sleeping at around 11pm and my stomach hurt(in a bearable way) around 1am and I had to get up to use the toilet.
But not much came out though...

Day 5: 15/10/2014
I've been using the toilet more often than usual.
The poopie is more watery than usual... or muddy, I'm not sure...
But it became something like a habit to "flush the dirty things out" when I woke up.
I usually drink around 6pm-7pm as I reach home around 5pm and eat my dinner around 6pm.
The bearable pain hasn't reduced tho.
Guess I should still stick to being patient.

Day 16: 26/10/2014
I decided not to drink this every day because it felt like I'm losing a lot of water in my body.
The reason why I think that I'm somehow dehydrated is that every time I go poopoo, it's in the more-watery-sort-of-muddy situation.
But drinking it does help me to improve the "get rid the gas" system, I burp and *poot* a bit more often than before, leading a consequence of having a less bloated tummy.
Still using the toilet tho, but like I said before, dehydration... sometimes the poopoo ain't coming out if I don't drink the tea or enough water.

Day 26: 05/11/2014
I stopped drinking it for days now because from the colour of my urine, I am somehow really dehydrated even though I drank a lot of water but with the tea bag along in it.
I guess it somehow makes you dehydrated?
Anyways, the body part above my tummy and below my chest is obviously less bloaty than before and I can see my waist now.
No, I did not start my exercising routing nor have I put the effort into getting a thinner waist.
I guess this thing really works?
Anyways, I'm trying my best to get hydrated now.
